ETHNIC INDIA’s prime motto is to promote art of Bihar i.e ‘Madhubani Painting’. Madhubani painting, also known as Mithila painting, is a folk of Bihar originated from a small village in Bihar known as Madhubani. It was first made by the villagers on the wall of their mud house with natural colours made by flowers, leaves, fruits, vegetables and spices. Then gradually it was made on paper portraying the life of God and Godess for eg. Marriage of Lord Rama and Sita, Rama, Lakshman, Sita going for Banvas, Sita Bidai scene in a doli etc. Themes of the Mithila painting of Bihar revolve around Hindu deities like Krishna, Rama, Lakshmi, Shiva, Durga and Saraswati.
